Safety
Vote YES for Tomball ISD Bond to Ensure Students, Staff and Community Safety
The $429 million bond proposal, developed by a diverse Bond 2025 Steering Committee, is designed to focus on our existing facilities and ensure our current schools have the same standards as new ones. This bond will also help TISD address the continued growth while enhancing safety, security, and educational quality without increasing the total district tax rate.
With over 4,200 new students already enrolled since 2020 and continued growth projected, these projects ensure that every student benefits from improved facilities, advanced technology, and secure transportation.
Proposition A:
Safer School Buildings & Facilities
Vote YES for Proposition A to secure safer facilities for all students and staff!
Upgrading facility infrastructure will prevent hazards from aging buildings ensuring students and staff learn and work in a secure environment.
Replacing and relocating Tomball Intermediate School will provide an updated, safer learning environment for students attending the district’s oldest campus and will lessen traffic on Main Street, which will benefit ALL Tomball residents.
Enhancing security measures, such as updated access card readers and impact resistant film, will strengthen campus safety while reducing risks of intrusions and emergencies.
Refreshing campuses with improvements in common areas with new flooring, updated lighting, and modern furniture will create a healthier, safer learning environment and bring equality with newer campuses.
Replacing worn-out athletic equipment and facilities reduces safety hazards and ensures students can train and compete without risk of injury.
Investing in new buses prevents the risk of breakdowns and accidents, ensuring students travel safely to and from school and events.
Proposition B:
Cybersecurity & Digital Protection
Vote YES on Proposition B to empower our students and educators with the latest technology and enhanced cybersecurity measures!
Updating technology protects students and staff from cyber threats, data breaches, and outdated security vulnerabilities.
Secure and modern devices ensure that students’ personal information and learning resources remain protected.
Investing in up-to-date technology keeps the district compliant with evolving safety and security standards.
Proposition C:
Stadium Safety for Students & Spectators
Vote YES on Proposition C to renew and secure our historic Tomball HS stadium for future generations and protect our student athletes and community!
The original track and infrastructure at Cougar Country Stadium are outdated and worn, posing risks to athletes and spectators.
New surfaces, restriped tracks, and enhanced lighting will prevent injuries and ensure a safe environment for student athletes, band members, and community members who use the facilities.
By addressing safety concerns now, the district avoids larger, more expensive repairs in the future.
This stadium is used for district track-and-field meets and several teams use this as their home competition field. We must update this facility and protect this investment!
Proposition D:
Protection from Extreme
Weather Conditions
Vote YES on Proposition D to ensure our students have a safe, year-round venue for co-curricular activities!
New Multi-Program Activity Centers will provide safe indoor spaces for students to practice and perform without the risk of heat exhaustion or weather-related injuries.
Texas’ extreme temperatures can be dangerous, and these centers ensure compliance with state regulations and allow students to safely participate in extracurricular activities.
Investing in weather-safe facilities ensures that all students, regardless of the sport or program, have access to safe, year-round training environments. Let’s give all our kids what they need to perform their best!
The new UIL guidelines will make it nearly impossible for our kids to practice outside in the heat, losing ground against our competitors in nearby districts that already have indoor facilities.
